Com negócios no estado desde 2017, a empresa viu a demanda por internet via fibra ótica triplicar na quarentena imposta pela pandemia do novo coronavírus. Nas últimas semanas, a quantidade de assinantes do serviço chegou a 40 mil nas 12 cidades onde a empresa atua.
Com origem em Pereiro, no semiárido, a empresa se expandiu primeiro por municípios interioranos do Ceará e do Rio Grande do Norte. Alcançou Pernambuco e depois a Paraíba. A Brisanet tem clientela em cidades pernambucanas do Sertão, passando pelo Agreste, até a Mata. O próximo estado a atender será Alagoas, com o o início da operação ainda neste mês.

Os 40 mil assinantes de Pernambuco, segundo a empresa, estão em Salgueiro, Arcoverde, Serra Talhada, Custódia, Pesqueira, Belo Jardim, Brejo da Madre de Deus, Caruaru, Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, Toritama e Vitória de Santo Antão. A demanda no estado requer cerca de 300 funcionários.

É mais do que o dobro das 230 mil de 2018 e cerca de 60% em relação às 350 mil de 2019. A expectativa é que a empresa encerre 2020 com um crescimento de 80% em relação ao ano passado.

Neste mês, usando o seu braço de franquias – Agility Telecom – a empresa chegou a Goiana, na Mata Norte. A Agility oferece suporte, infraestrutura e tecnologia para pequenos provedores e já está em 44 municípios pernambucanos.
